📚Teaching English in Remote Area program (TERA Program)📚

This summer, HIA students Rita Lin, Annabelle Hsu, Joshua Chen, Charlie Hsu, and Hana Khoo, along with their mentors Ms. Chiu and Mr. Liu, participated in HIA's first Teaching English in Remote Area Program (TERA Program).

HIA TERA team ventured out of the city to bring knowledge and joy to children in remote areas. HIA students taught various classes in English, including science classes, art classes, physical education and cooking classes. They not only imparted knowledge but also spent a joyful summer with the children.

This experience allowed the HIA TERA team to discover the different learning needs and backgrounds of students in remote area. They also adjusted their teaching methods to better meet their needs. Most importantly, the students gained valuable experience and spent a fulfilling and enjoyable summer with the children.

📚偏遠地區英語教學志工計畫(TERA Program)📚

今年暑假，HIA 的學生 Rita Lin、Annabelle Hsu、Joshua Chen、Charlie Hsu 和 Hana Khoo 在Ms. Chiu 和 Mr. Liu 的帶領下，參與了 HIA 的首次偏遠地區英語教學志工計畫 (TERA Program)。

HIA TERA 團隊走出都市，為偏鄉的孩子們帶來了知識和歡樂。在這次活動中，學生們用英語教授了各種課程，包括自然科學如製作紙火箭、隱形藥水和降落傘；美術課如黏土、沙畫和水彩畫；體育課如橄欖球和飛盤；以及食物製作課如三明治。他們不僅傳授了知識，還陪伴孩子們度過了愉快的夏天。

這次經驗讓 HIA TERA 學生團隊發現，這裡的孩子有著不同的學習需求和背景。他們調整了教學方式以更適合學生的需求。更重要的是，學生們吸收了寶貴的經驗，並陪伴小朋友們度過了一個充實愉快的暑假。
